Perry Homes Sees a Record Number of Builds in the Coffs Harbour Area in 2018

Greg Stocks, Area Construction Manager for the Mid North Coast region for Perry Homes commented, “I have been with Perry Homes for five years now, three of those as Area Construction Manager. Greg commenced his career as a Carpenter, soon earning his Builder’s Licence. Owning his own building business for ten years before joining Perry Homes, Greg won a Master Builders Award for an impressive home renovation.
Site Supervisor James Hourn grew up in Coffs Harbour and learnt his trade from his father. He commented, “Building has always been a part of my life. Since I was a young boy I was visiting construction sites with my father. There was never any doubt what I wanted to do when I finished school.”
Likewise for Site Supervisor Phillip Davies (affectionately known as PJ). PJ has been building new homes for over 30 years. “I have always been passionate about building. It’s a great feeling being able to hand the keys over to a client for their new home,” said PJ.

2018 has been a busy year for Perry Homes, with a large volume of homes being built in the new land estates in the northern beaches, namely Sandy Beach, Woopi Beach and Emerald Beach. Greg commented, “Our team here build in both the north and south sides of Coffs Harbour. The south is a little more spread out, with quite a lot of rural, acreage-style homes being built. Whilst we try to operate in pockets for time efficiencies, we can share the workload and move people about should demand require it.”
Greg added, “Meeting demand is actually one of the benefits of building with Perry Homes. This means that there are no wait times on start sites for our clients, and our ordering and scheduling timelines are streamlined.”

Greg commented, “We have been hard at work building two new display homes – the Azure and the Dune – which are due to open early February. These homes are a testament to the quality of the homes that we build. The Azure in particular will really inspire a way of life, with a purpose built gazebo and swimming pool.
“We are confident that people will really love what they see. Both are new designs in the Perry Homes portfolio and showcase two different styles – the Azure will display the on-trend Hamptons design, whilst the Dune will feature a modern Seaspray façade complete with Colorbond roof.”
